Recently the government has issued a statement which says 54 Chinese apps are banned from India from 14th February.

In the list of 54 Chinese apps the famous battleground game freefire with almost 54 million downloads is also getting banned in India.

Why is it banned?

The apps was claimed to be from a Singaporean company last year. But at this time it is proved to be a handled by a Chinese one because of which people are in a shock.

It has been found to violate data privacy laws, have security threats, and were found to be cloned versions old Tencent company.

The Indian government want apps to store data in India for security but it didn’t wanted to do.

Hence some other factors also made it to be taken down by the government.

People are wondering it will make a comeback just like the PUBG did but till now it is not confirmed however a statement has been announced.
