Delhi university is one of the top university in India. It is the 3rd ranked university of India.

History:

The university was founded back 100 years ago in 1922 by the the then central legislative assembly of the British India.At that time it had only 750 student three colleges and two faucilities.

Courses:

The courses are available for both postgraduate and undergraduate.

The university offers 240 courses to their both type of students.

The courses are classified into science,commerce and arts.

It offers 70 post graduate degree,15 advanced diploma degrees,28 diplomas and almost 95 certified courses.

Recruitment:

For recruitment of a professor or associate professor a person must have 10 and 8 years of experience respectively.

The educational qualification should be a good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned field of educational and a master degree with 55℅ marks.

North campus:

The north campus has 13 colleges centred on the Faculty of Arts, Science, Law and Management.

Admission:

For admission/entrance test you will have to prepare for quantitative ability, reasoning and analytical skills general english, business and general awareness.

Your qualification will be based on 65℅ entrance test score, 35℅ you school/ college marks and some other major subjects.

Procedure:

  • Fill the online/offline form.Select your desired courses.
  • Wait for the result and cut off list.
  • Check the cut off list and look in which campus you can go according to your marks.
  • Collect your important documents like 10th and 12th marksheet,photos,any certificate you got.
  • Go to your college there you’ll have to fill some forms after that pay the fee and go to your campus.

If you are good at any extra curriculars activities like debate, dance, music, sports etc. you can get admission irrespective of your marks.

Sports:

It has 7 stadiums in North campus. It is almost 10,000 square meters and has seating capacity of 2,500 permanent and 7,500 temporary seats.

Student union:

It has an elected student union namely “Delhi University Student Union” also called as DUSU.

It has a total number of 25,315 student out of which 1,271 are undergraduate,     20,344 are postgraduate and 3,700 are doctor studying.
